Happy Thanksgiving
2020 is the year I appreciate everything I have.
The year started out as normal with the usual routine, going to work and school, signing up for spring sports events, planning summer vacations. Then suddenly it all changed.
We all had life-changing events we had to push through. We all had lots of plans that we had to change or cancel. We went through lots of frustration and struggle this year.
What helped me this year is thinking about how I approach the challenges.
“The meaning of life is found in the present moment and how you respond to it.” (Deepak Chopra)
I am grateful for the challenges that helped me become more creative and push forward.
I am grateful for the failures that helped me learn and do better.
I am grateful for all the time I get to spend with my family.
I am grateful for my husband and amazing boys who are here to support me every day.
I am grateful for my family who listens to me and supports me even from far away.
I am grateful for my friends who I can honestly talk to.
I am grateful for my co-workers, clients, and all the people I work with who are shaping my life every day, so I can come up with better ways to help.
The year 2020 has brought me lots of happiness.
“Happiness is not a luck of circumstances. It’s about how you approach life…” (Dean Graziosi)
Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours! Stay safe and enjoy the time you get to spend with those who you care about, even if this might be virtual. Cheers!
